Series Editors: Beth Hatt, College of Education, Illinois State University and George W. Noblit, School of Education, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Identity, Culture, and Equity is an inter-disciplinary book series highlighting work that increases our understanding of the ways identity, culture, and equity are linked. The books we seek examine how identity formations are situated in scenes, organizations, institutions and how these are entangled with efforts to stratify society, schools, and other institutions. We have a particular interest in theoretical or inquiry-based projects that reveal the ways power and culture are implicated in both inequities and stratification related to identity.
